Garmin to Announce Palm OS Aviation Handheld

A site called Geekzone is reporting that Garmin is planning to announce a Palm OS based GPS-enabled organizer with a special yoke mount. To the best of my knowledge this gadget is the first of its kind.

Blinding Pilots With Lasers OK Only For Feds

After arresting a man for pointing a laser at commercial pilots and just one day after the Department of Transportation asked pilots to notify them when they see laser light in the cockpit, the U.S. military said it's testing a system for shining laser light at pilots who venture into the Washington, D.C., area.
